The LEP regulations allow for a licensee to earn up to, but no more than, twelve (12) continuing education credits by taking distance learning courses during any biennial period. On August 12th, 2021, the LEP Board approved a waiver of the regulatory limitation on the number of credits a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) can receive from approved distance learning, on-demand*, courses for the biennial period from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023. Only approved distance learning courses can be used for credit.
